Our Clients

Our clients are a wide variety of individuals who have the potential for independent living but currently lack the skills necessary to successfully achieve self-sufficiency.

Clients are referred to Grace House from a number of community agencies, organizations and professionals. Halton Healthcare Services (formerly Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital) is the largest single source of referrals.

Grace House assists clients with a wide range of disabilities and needs including those of a psychological, psychiatric, social and/or physiological nature.

Residents of Grace House must be at least 18 years of age to a maximum of 65 years old. Most of our clients tend to be in their mid-20s or 30s. Approximately 60% of our clients are men.

Potential clients must be willing to set goals and participate in activities directed toward the attainment of those goals. In addition, clients must have no history of violence, must have withdrawn from substance abuse and be motivated to maintain a recovery program.
